Throughout his career he has had the opportunity to pursue postgraduate studies and training courses in renowned national and international centers such as the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Md., Methodist Hospital in Houston, Tx. and Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Fl.
Dr. Campos Torres has been practicing bariatric surgery procedures such as gastric sleeve and gastric bypass for over 18 years. Currently, he is Director and Chief Surgeon at Obesity Care Group (Centro de Obesidad y Cirugía Laparoscópica), one of the main obesity centers in the north of Mexico that has changed the lives of thousands of patients. He is also in charge of the Surgery Division at Hospital Angeles Torreón, part of Mexico's largest private hospital network.
Medical education has been part of his professional development and he has been a professor to national doctors and students in hundreds of bariatric and laparoscopic surgery training courses, fields in which Dr. Campos has also participated in numerous conferences as speaker.
